Hey, I’m Reko.

I’m a photographer and lifelong observer of people. The most treasured images aren’t perfectly posed — they’re the quiet, honest moments: your child’s unguarded laugh, the natural way a family gathers, the confidence that appears when you’re truly in your element. Those are the photos that become family legacy.

My work was shaped by documenting life in high-stakes settings — from serving as a combat medic with the 101st Airborne to photojournalism, weddings, and even underwater photography in the Cayman Islands. Now based in Franklin, Tennessee , my wife and I bring that experience to create timeless, private portraits for families and individuals who value intention and lasting quality.

What to expect while working together

  • The Planning Phase

    Everything starts with clarity.
    We begin with a conversation to understand what you want and why it matters.
    My wife (interior designer) and I (photographer) plan a meaningful session—location, atmosphere, and a focused shot list—so your images fit your space and story.
    Simple wardrobe guidance, intentional shots, and decisions about prints or image sets ensure nothing is accidental.

  • During the Session

    You’re never left guessing — I guide you with clear, natural direction so you look like yourselves, just more at ease.
    Sessions stay relaxed and human: moving naturally, talking and laughing, slowing down when it matters.
    With kids, we follow their rhythm — no forced smiles, just real moments that families treasure.
    The goal: you leave thinking, “That was actually fun.”


  • After your session

    Within 48–72 hours I’ll contact you to schedule a viewing of a curated set of your strongest images and video — no sifting through near-duplicates.
    Families: we’ll view in person and choose prints sized for your pre-selected spaces.
    Brands: you’ll get a refined proof gallery chosen for usage, consistency, and longevity.
    Next step: finalize artwork or deliverables and arrange installation so your images live where your life happens.
